When is the last time you swung from a staircase banister with abandon?
This type of freedom was very new to me as well! Prior to meeting my friend Kristin Morelli I never would have taken these risks. Kristin has shared with me much wisdom about embodying my pleasure and I have had the opportunity to teach her the art of Conscious Burlesque. When I first worked with Kristin she had never worn a corset, never worn pasties. In fact, I remember her giddy squeal and blushing cheeks as I explained to her how pasties adhere to breasts. Initially, I began teaching her along with her students, from 179 different countries, the art and practice of Conscious Burlesque.
I didn’t know how powerful the experience teaching in the Pleasure Tribe would be for me personally; working with this group has been beautiful, celebratory, and magical. A major shift occurred in teaching Kristin. She went from blushing at the thought of wearing pasties to dancing with our troupe on her staircase. And soon she will do her very fist Conscious Burlesque performance in front of a world wide audience.
Conscious Burlesque is an amazing offering to open yourself, step into your body, and play unabashedly. Women around the world are stepping into their bodies, finding their erotic voices, about learning how to stand firmly in who they are- as radiant divine women.
I worked for months preparing choreography, special lessons, and unique personal performances for the Red Tent. These juicy offerings were specially created for Kristin’s wild, amazing, fierce women.
I have been teaching Kristin’s Red Mastery students detailed Conscious Burlesque choreography online. Unique dance parts were designed for each women and they too will be performing in front of their sisters! These courageous women range from late 20’s to mid 70’s, many of them have worn a corset or fishnets, have come together to create an incredible group performance.
They are an incredible inspiration to me; their beauty, cultivation of female pleasure, and embodied, celebratory dance is a gift to women everywhere!
